Places to Visit in Lakewood

Are you visiting Lakewood CO for the first time and not sure where to go? Here are a few spots you must visit, recommended by our Lakewood chiropractor.

Outdoor Adventures

Red Rocks Park and Amphitheater - This one should go without explaining! We are only 13 minutes away from the world famous Red Rocks Park and Amphitheater. A beautiful area for music lovers, hikers, thrift shoppers… you name it. This area has drawn in crowds and people from various walks of life for decades.

Beech Park - Just down the road from Denver Sports Medicine is Beech Park. This little park is situated in the suburbs of Lakewood, close to hiking and local businesses. Perfect for families, dog-walking, and scenic points that look out over the Green Mountain area.

Must Visit Restaurants

Hello Coffee - Across from Denver Sports Medicine is a local coffee shop. Hello Coffee serves the most unique combination of syrup flavors with catchy names for each drink. The staff is friendly, there is always good music playing, and you can expect to get your drink in less than a minute!

Frontroom Pizza - Frontroom pizza is another local business in the same district as Denver Sports Medicine. They offer Denver style pizza as well as a variety of sandwiches, pasta, and salads. They’re a great go-to for our staff for lunches or when we need to order catering! Delicious!

Green Mountain Beer Company - Green Mountain Beer Company offers a variety of beer on tap. What’s beautiful about this brewery is the large patio, variety of seating, and beautiful views that look out at Lakewood and Bear Creek. They are also in a nice little hub of other local eateries and even have their own food truck you can walk to from the taproom.

Moe’s Original BBQ - Next to our favorite brewery, Green Mountain Beer Company, is a delicious restaurant. Just off of North Bear Creek, Moe’s is owned by one of Denver Sports Medicine’s well established patients. Moe’s serves DELICIOUS sandwiches, platters, and sides. They like to describe themselves as southern food revival and they could not be more accurate!
